Michael W. Smith, "Agnus Dei"

I've been singing this song in my heart for about two weeks now and even learned to play it on my guitar.

You probably already know it, but if not,  I wanted to encourage you to praise HIM in  a spirit of prayer that asks for nothing; a spirit of honor, love and worship.

I heard someone remind me this morning to seek HIS face, not HIS hands.

Here's the song:

Pastor Scott: Be Delivered from the Penalty, Power and Practice of Sin 7/3/16

Below is the video of this past Sunday's worship service. I pray it touches you and that you are challenged to allow Jesus to work in you.

What will you do with what You are Entitled? 5/29/16

In today's Sermon, Pastor Scott gives us something to think about.  Do you know anyone who seems to feel entitled to things?  Do you ever feel entitled?

Jesus was certainty entitled to love, respect, worship and many forms of glorification.  Yet, what did  HE do and say?  What examples did HE live for us to follow?

Even when we have earned authority, entitlement-giving-status or find ourselves in a position of power; before we begin acting as the rest of the world might expect , we should take a lesson from Jesus.

Listen to Pastor Scott's message and find out what that is.

5/22/16 Do the Unusual to Harvest Souls: Pastor Scott Explains

From today's Sermon - John 4:27 -38

The Disciples Rejoin Jesus

27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, “What do you want?” or “Why are you talking with her?”

28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?” 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him.

31 Meanwhile his disciples urged him, “Rabbi, eat something.”

32 But he said to them, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about.”

33 Then his disciples said to each other, “Could someone have brought him food?”

34 “My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work. 35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. 36 Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together. 37 Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. 38 I sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

3 things to do for your Mother 5/8/16

We had a wonderful morning at church today hearing all about the district assembly, the news concerning Mrs. Dajunna being selected to go to the world assembly (what ever you call it).

Also mentioned in the Pastor's opening remarks today were Cori and Cashi since they are major contributors to the Nazarene organization in the state and district.

Please watch the video to hear the full explanation of the impact our little church in Bawcomville, Louisiana is making in God's kingdom.

I also want to point you to Dajunna's wise remarks as we ended our service. Watch and find out what we produce in our children; according to the type of parenting style they receive.

It's powerful!

Happy Mother's Day to all these ladies!
