-West Monroe, LA 10/13/15
It's official! Pastor Scott announced today that Mathew Bryan will now be serving as full-time Pastor of Crosspoint Community Church of the Nazarene in Ruston, Louisiana.
Mathew has been filling in temporarily for the past several months as their pastor retired. With no one to replace him, Faith Community stepped in; first alternating between Pastor Scott and Mathew (our youth pastor) filling in, then (after several weeks) with only Mathew focusing there and Pastor Scott focusing on Faith Community.
Mathew and his wife, Mindy, are loving, talented, caring, energetic, and committed to doing the Lord's work. They have our confidence.
Our prayers will be with them as they step out of their comfort zone; trusting GOD's plan.
Address and Mission
Our address: 908 Washington St. West Monroe, Louisiana.

10/11/15 What if We are Like Jonah? Pastor Scott Explains the Stakes
Jonah was disobedient when God told him to go minister to the people of Nineveh. As a result, the sailors tossed cargo overboard, which meant the producers orders weren’t filled and people didn’t get their stuff.
What if Pastor Scott and Dajunna had not been obedient, and they had not moved to West Monroe? Whose lives (or souls) might still be lost?
Listen to Pastor Scott explain the hazards of trying to run from God’s will. Peoples' lives are at stake!

10/4/15 - What is truly Valuable? Pastor Scott Explains
We get excited when we stumble upon things that are valuable, don't we? Well, how much do we value our eternity? How does its value stack up against other things we value?

WATCH: How Can God use us? 9/27/15 Sunday Worship
Romans 12:3New International Version (NIV)
3 For by the grace given me I say
to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but
rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God
has distributed to each of you.
*******
Concerning
Spiritual Gifts
1 Corinthians 12 (New International Version (NIV)
4 There are different kinds of gifts,
but the same Spirit distributes them.5 There are
different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There
are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is
the same God at work.
7 Now to each one the manifestation of
the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one
there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a
message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to
another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that
one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to
another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to
another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a] and to still another the
interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these
are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each
one, just as he determines.

9/13/15 (Full Sunday Service) HOW DO WE GET THE WORD OUT TO THE WORLD? Pastor Scott Explains
There is great work before us. Getting the word out is what Paul is talking about in Romans 10, Pastor Scott explains in the video below.
"For everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved."
Great, but Pastor Scott asks: how can they call upon HIM unless they believe in HIM? How can they believe in HIM if they haven't heard of HIM? How can they hear of him unless someone tells them?
GET THE WORD OUT with ...
1. Gods Promise.
2. God's Plan
3. God's Proclamation

9/6/15 - Pastor Scott: What will Jesus find when HE comes into Your Temple?
Jesus at the Temple
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’[e] but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’[f]”
14 The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.15 But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.
16 “Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
“‘From the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’[g]
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’[g]
