11/02/14 Worship: The Love of Christ and "No Condemnation, No Domination, No Separation"

Harvestfest is this Saturday, November 8, from 2 to 6 pm. We call it "Harvest"-fest because there are lots of souls in our community that need harvesting for the LORD.

This is community outreach and everyone is encouraged to participate and contribute with that in mind.  When they see and hear us, let them see and hear Christ.

Please pray for Dajunna who was feeling under the weather this morning. We all miss her when she's not here.

Below:  The first video Brother Chad gets us going with  the beginning of worship.  We then have music, the offering (with Brother Scott Platt), and another song.

If you want to smile, be sure to check out the youngster dancing to the first song!

Also, Brother Scott Platt, explains an eyebrow raising coincidence regarding a friend who wanted to hear from God.

Below:   Pastor Scott explains the depths of Jesus’ love for us. Pastor Scott also explains how addiction can cause us to remain separated from God’s plans for our lives. He tells the story of his tobacco addiction as related to his wife, Dajunna.

Below: Portions of music as performed by our wonderful praise team.

10/26/14 Worship and Praise: Your Body as a Living Sacrifice

What a blessed service today!  (See Below).

First of all, the biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast was great!  Thank you to the cooks for such hard work.

Upcoming events: Saturday November 8 is our autumn festival and the community is invited. We’ll have games, candy, a cakewalk, food and fun, not to mention GOD will be here as well.

There is also a ladies' Bible study on Friday:

In the beginning of the first video below , you can hear the announcements on upcoming events.

About this post:   I was unable to record the heart-felt thanks our congregation gave Pastor Scott and his family for being such a blessing to our community.
Below: Chad begins service with announcements.

Below: Pastor Scott gives us a message about sacrificing our bodies to God.

Below: I was unable to record as much of the Praise Team as I’d have liked, but I did catch Dajunna, Cashi,  Cori, Mathew and the gang having a good time getting ready for today’s service.

Here are some pictures I took today:

Joyce Meyers: Defeating our Bad Moods and Find Joy

I have grown to like Joyce Meyers after listening to her on the radio most work mornings for over a year.  This is worth listening to if you find you lack joy in your life.

Liz Curtis Higgs: Ruth and Boaz

Liz Curtis Higgs is a woman I heard on the radio this morning.  This is a little something I found from her this evening.

This popular author and speaker tells the story of Boaz, who became a young girl's "prince charming" and foreshadowed Christ's grace.

Joyce Meyers, "The Robot" (What about me?)

I heard this on the radio this morning and thought I'd share it with you:
